Elegant vintage Japanese serving set featuring deep indigo-black ceramic bowls paired with matching lacquer-style trays and spoons, presented in the original gift box. The underside mark reads 水峰 (Mizumine) and the included paper identifies the set as 美濃焼 水峰窯 (Minoyaki Mizumine Kiln), connecting the collection to the long ceramic tradition of Mino ware from Gifu Prefecture, one of Japan’s most important pottery regions.
The bowls are finished in a dramatic flowing blue-black glaze with subtle gradient transitions resembling night sky or flowing water effects. Decorative gold grapevine motifs appear near the rim, adding a refined traditional accent inspired by Japanese kinsai gold-decoration aesthetics. The glaze style belongs to the broader category of modern Japanese artisan gift ceramics popular during the late Showa and early Heisei periods, where rich experimental glazes were combined with elegant lacquer serving accessories.
