VINTAGE - Japanese Yawatauma Wooden Horse Figurine – Aomori Folk Craft

This vintage Japanese horse figurine is a Yawatauma (八幡馬), a traditional wooden folk toy.

The horse is decorated with vivid painted details, ornamental cords, woven textile panels, golden fringe, a small metal bell, and a soft white mane. Its elaborate appearance is inspired by horses dressed ceremonially for festive or celebratory occasions.
