Description
Description
A distinctive vintage Japanese stoneware vessel inspired by the traditional teoke mizusashi, a handled water container used in the Japanese tea ceremony.
The front is decorated with two cranes painted in restrained black and grey tones. The birds are rendered with simple, expressive brushwork, creating a quiet composition that complements the rustic glaze. The design may be described as tetsue tsurumon, 鉄絵鶴文, or an iron-painted crane motif.
