VINTAGE - Japanese Oshi-e Hagoita with Fuji Musume Wisteria Maiden

This vintage Japanese decorative hagoita features a raised textile figure of an elegant woman dressed in a richly patterned kimono.

Traditionally associated with Japanese New Year celebrations, decorative hagoita are also appreciated as auspicious ornaments and examples of Japanese textile craftsmanship.

Material: Made from a wooden paddle with layered and padded textiles, Japanese-style fabric, decorative cords, synthetic or natural fibers, metallic ornaments, paint, and adhesive. The exact materials cannot be fully confirmed.

Dimensions: Total height: approximately 45.5 cm; maximum width: approximately 16 cm.

Condition: Vintage, very good condition. The item shows signs of age and previous display, including minor scratches, marks, dust, rubbing, discoloration, and general surface wear.
