This vintage Japanese teapot is an elegant Arita-yaki porcelain teapot with an original label marked 有田焼 / ARITA. Arita-yaki refers to porcelain produced in Arita and surrounding areas of Saga Prefecture, and is known as one of Japan’s most famous porcelain traditions with over 400 years of history.
Inside, the teapot includes a removable metal tea strainer, making it suitable for loose-leaf tea such as sencha, hojicha, genmaicha, or other Japanese green teas. The wrapped handle gives the piece a traditional appearance and makes it comfortable to hold.
This piece is suitable for daily tea preparation, display in a Japanese-style interior, or as part of a vintage Japanese porcelain collection. Recommended for collectors of Arita-yaki, Imari-style ceramics, Japanese teaware, and traditional floral porcelain.
