Sun-Star Stationery Tsumekake Index Punch – Compact Page Header Punch
Description
Description
The Sun-Star Stationery Tsumekake Index Punch is a compact specialty punch designed to create quick-access tabs directly along the corners or edges of notebook, planner and diary pages.
Instead of adding separate sticky tabs or adhesive index labels, this clever tool removes a small section of the paper itself. The cut-out area creates a tactile page marker that makes it easier to locate and open frequently used pages.
The punch can be used in two different ways depending on where it is positioned on the paper.
When placed on a page corner, it cuts away part of the corner to create an easy-to-grab marker. This makes it possible to quickly separate completed sections, mark the beginning of a new month or create a visible transition point between different parts of a notebook.
When placed along the edge of a page, the punch creates a semicircular notch that works like a built-in index tab. Multiple notches can be positioned at different heights along the page edge, allowing different notebook sections to be organized without adding extra accessories.
This makes the Tsumekake especially useful for planners, notebooks, study notes, journals, project books and reference materials where certain sections need to be accessed repeatedly.
The compact push-button design makes the punch simple to operate. Insert the paper fully into the punch, position it at the desired corner or edge, and press the top button to create the cut.
Its small body measures only approximately 35 × 35 × 20 mm, making it easy to keep inside a desk drawer, pencil pouch or stationery organizer without taking up much space.
Despite its compact size, the punch contains a stainless steel cutting component combined with durable engineering plastics including PC, POM and PP.
The punch is designed for ordinary PPC copy paper and can cut up to approximately two sheets of 64 g/m² paper at a time.
For corner cutting, it creates approximately a 7.5 mm quarter-circle cut. When used along the edge, it creates a semicircular notch approximately 14.4 mm wide and 5.5 mm deep.
A built-in locking function helps keep the punch securely closed during storage and transport.
The Tsumekake provides a simple way to add permanent page navigation to notebooks without relying on adhesive tabs that can peel off, bend or increase the thickness of the notebook.
It is particularly practical for students organizing study notes, planner users marking frequently referenced pages, journal users separating sections, and office workers managing project notebooks or reference materials.
