The Rich Silk Reward Face Mitten is a Japanese facial cleansing puff made with 100% silk on the cleansing surface, designed to gently remove impurities and old keratin while washing.

It uses Kibiso silk, the first silk thread produced by a silkworm when forming its cocoon. Kibiso accounts for only around 3% of a cocoon and is naturally rich in sericin, a water-soluble silk protein containing amino acids.

When soaked in lukewarm water, the silk softens and develops a gently textured surface. The naturally triangular cross-section of silk fibers helps lift away dirt and accumulated dead skin cells without the need for harsh scrubbing.

The mitten can be used not only on the face but also on areas prone to roughness, such as the décolletage, elbows and knees.

About Kibiso Silk

Kibiso (きびそ) is the first silk fiber discharged by a silkworm when it begins forming its cocoon and represents only a small portion of the entire cocoon.

Compared with conventional processed silk fibers, Kibiso retains a particularly high level of sericin, a silk protein composed of amino acids.

Its naturally uneven texture becomes softer when wet, making it suitable for gentle cleansing and removal of accumulated dead skin cells.

How to Use

1. Soak the mitten thoroughly in lukewarm water.
2. Apply an appropriate amount of facial soap or cleanser and create a rich lather.
3. Apply the foam to the face or body.
4. Gently glide the mitten over the skin without applying excessive pressure.
5. Rinse the skin thoroughly.
6. Rinse the mitten well after use, remove excess water and allow it to dry completely.

Avoid vigorous rubbing, particularly on sensitive or dry skin.
