Clean, Straight Highlighting

KIRE-NA features PILOT's specially developed Kichinto Guide, designed to help the highlighter move more steadily across the page.

Combined with a flexible tip, the guide helps maintain a more consistent line width and makes it easier to draw clean, straight highlights even across slightly curved textbook pages. 

Quick-Drying Pigment Ink

The highlighter uses PILOT's quick-drying water-based pigment ink.

On standard copy paper, the ink is designed to dry in approximately 1 second, helping reduce smudging on notes, hands and surrounding pages. 

Reduced Ink Pooling

The nylon tip is designed to absorb excess ink near the end of a stroke, helping reduce dark ink buildup and minimizing bleed-through.

This creates cleaner-looking notes and more even highlighting. 

Twin-Tip Design

Each KIRE-NA highlighter includes two tip widths:

• Fine Tip: Approx. 0.5 mm
• Broad Tip: Approx. 3.3 mm

The broad tip is ideal for highlighting printed text, while the fine tip is useful for underlining and detailed marking. 

Pale Tone 3-Color Set

This limited set includes:
