The umbrella features expressive photographs of cats captured in Oki’s distinctive style, turning an everyday rain accessory into something full of personality and humor. From relaxed poses to playful moments, the cat imagery makes each design enjoyable to look at even before the rain starts.

One of the most distinctive features is the soft paw-shaped handle. The outer section of the handle is made from silicone, giving it a soft, squishy feel inspired by a cat’s paw. It adds a tactile, playful detail that makes the umbrella especially appealing to cat lovers.

The canopy uses a soft polyurethane material, allowing this transparent-style umbrella to fold more easily than a typical rigid vinyl umbrella. This makes it practical for carrying in a bag while still keeping the clear, lightweight appearance associated with plastic umbrellas.

The folding frame uses a manual easy-open mechanism, designed to open and close smoothly without requiring each rib section to be manually snapped into place. The umbrella folds down into a compact size for convenient storage and travel.

Some parts of the frame use lightweight, high-strength fiberglass, helping improve durability while keeping the structure practical for everyday use.

Design Details

The transparent and semi-transparent canopy allows light to pass through while highlighting the cat imagery printed across the umbrella.

The Off and Gray versions feature a more graphic monochrome-inspired dot design, while the Green version belongs to the earlier colorful cat-photo collection. This gives each variant its own character while maintaining the same playful Wpc. × Masayuki Oki identity.
