Akane (あかね) is a Japanese language teacher and creator of the YouTube channel あかね的日本語教室.

After graduating from university and working for a private company, she completed a master's program at the Graduate School of Letters of Kokugakuin University.

She passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test in 2016 and has taught Japanese at language schools and universities.

In 2018, she launched あかね的日本語教室, sharing Japanese-learning content with students around the world. As of April 2026, the channel had approximately 700,000 subscribers.

She obtained the Registered Japanese Language Teacher (登録日本語教員) qualification in 2025.
